Chocolaty, smoky-sweet. Chocolate fudge, dried plum, scorched mesquite, molasses, tangerine zest in aroma and cup. Round, barely perceptible acidity; plush, creamy mouthfeel. Gently drying finish with notes of tangerine zest and scorched mesquite.
Balanced, briskly sweet. Baking chocolate, almond, brown sugar, date, cedar in aroma and cup. Sweet, apple-like acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Nutty-sweet finish supported by cedar notes.
Quietly sweet, nut-toned. Brazil nut, cocoa powder, lily, raisin, fir in aroma and cup. Sweet but somewhat harsh acidity; crisp, lightly satiny mouthfeel. Dry, wood-framed finish with hints of Brazil nut and lily.
Roast-muted, chocolaty and smoky. Scorched fir, baking chocolate, salted peanut, bay leaf, hint of gardenia in aroma and cup. No perceptible acidity; rough-edged, slightly astringent mouthfeel. Dry, peanutty finish with smoky wood and chocolate undertones.
Sweet-savory, muted. Carob, lily, stale raisin, fir, sassafras in aroma and cup. Harsh acidity; thin, inert mouthfeel. Carob-driven finish with undertones of lily and sassafras.
Acrid, bittersweet. Carob, lily, raisin, scorched fir, green bean in aroma and cup. Burnt, bitter structure with only vague sweetness; thin, cloying mouthfeel. Ashen, medicinal flavor dominates the bitter finish.
Burnt, acrid, harsh, sweetly composty. Charcoal, floral soap, stale walnuts, vegetal compost, hint of medicinal taint in aroma and cup. Sharp, harsh acidity; cloying, tannic, heavy mouthfeel. Composty, medicinal finish.
Gently fruity, cocoa-toned. Blueberry, lemon verbena, cocoa nib, agave syrup, cedar in aroma and cup. Crisp, briskly sweet acidity; very smooth, syrupy mouthfeel. Finish consolidates to notes of cocoa-toned blueberry and cedar.
Crisply sweet-savory. Cashew, cocoa powder, goji berry, bay leaf, brown sugar in aroma and cup. Pert acidity; velvety mouthfeel. Sweetly nutty finish with undertones of cocoa powder and brown sugar.
Berry-toned, sweetly tart. Raspberry, salted caramel, lemon balm, dried goji berry, cedar in aroma and cup. Sweetly-tart acidity; plush syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. Resonant, berry-toned finish supported by notes of lemon balm and caramel.
Berry-toned, intensely sweet. Dried mulberry, marjoram, cocoa nib, freesia, watermelon candy in aroma and cup. Lively, sparkling (phosphoric) acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Concentrated finish carried by dried mulberry and freesia notes with undertones of cocoa nib.
Complex, richly sweet-tart. Strawberry-guava, kumquat, narcissus, raw cacao, amber in aroma and cup. Juicy, citric acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Flavor-laden finish led by notes of strawberry-guava and amber with support from kumquat.
Evaluated as espresso. Roast-rounded, crisply chocolaty. Baking chocolate, pie cherry, gently scorched oak, lily, sassafras in aroma and cup. Satiny mouthfeel; gently drying, chocolaty, wood-framed finish with subtle smoke notes. In cappuccino format, sweet chocolate notes carry the cup, with undertones of lilly and gently scorched oak.
High-toned, richly chocolaty. Dark chocolate, magnolia, hazelnut, pink peppercorn, lemongrass in aroma and cup. Juicy-bright acidity; full, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. The chocolaty, sweetly nutty finish is redolent of Nutella.
Evaluated as espresso. Chocolaty-sweet, rich-toned. Pomegranate, baking chocolate, almond,gently scorched fir, dark caramel in aroma and small cup. Creamy-smooth mouthfeel; crisp, chocolaty finish with almond and smoky fir undertones. In three parts milk, chocolaty and floral (magnolia notes emerge).
Very sweet, tropical and floral-toned. Vanilla orchid, guava, dried ginger, kola nut, lemongrass in aroma and cup. Vibrant, juicy acidity; silky, viscous mouthfeel. Exceptionally long, harmonious, integrated finish.
Bright, juicy, floral-toned. Tangerine, plumeria (frangipani) red plum, cocoa nib, tarragon in aroma and cup. Sparkling (phosphoric) acidity; delicately satiny, very smooth mouthfeel. The resonant finish carries over all the flavor notes from the cup.
Delicately sweet-tart, complex. Sweetly herbaceous, citrusy. Cocoa nib, kumquat, lemon thyme, amber, sugarcane in aroma and cup. Balanced, malic (apple-like) acidity; very full, syrupy mouthfeel. Herby, cocoa-toned finish.
Juicy-sweet, deep-toned. White peach, narcissus, cocoa nib, oak, almond in aroma and cup. High-toned acidity; very full, satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Cocoa-driven, floral finish.
Rich-toned, very sweet. Butterscotch, pistachio, tangerine, black cherry, cedar in aroma and cup. Bright, vibrant acidity; crisp, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Inviting finish centered around notes of butterscotch and tangerine.
