Blind Assessment

Exhilaratingly intense but roundly sweet-toned aroma: black cherry, flowers, milk chocolate, with an underlying cedar-toned crispness. Sweet flowers and cherry dominate in the cup with an almost symphonic richness of tone. Medium bodied but silky mouthfeel. The floral notes linger into the farthest reaches of the finish.

Produced by farmer Reynel Perez at an elevation of approximately 5,500 feet. This 2006 crop, less than 1,000 pounds, was purchased in its entirety by Paradise Roasters. Paradise prides itself on roasting and shipping coffee only after orders are placed. Slightly impure but splendidly beautiful, this is an example of how exceptional and distinctive small lots of Colombia coffee can be.
